Through several years of practice, I have developed a set of skills to help clients understand, cope and even overcome from different mental health challenges. In a mindful presence, I am aware of individual differences of cultural and ethnic diversity and provide a safe environment that is welcoming and peaceful for all clients. In a non-judgmental approach, through exploration in life review, we will identify areas of repeated undesirable patterns that are negatively impacting your own functioning and others. Throughout this process, I assist clients in enhancing self-determination skills. Being sensitive while we process through challenges, I will be there listening, supporting and assisting you in developing healthy skills.
At The College of Saint Scholastica, in Duluth, MN, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor of Gerontology and a Masters of Social Work degree. During my professional experiences, I have specialized in providing family and individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults and the geriatric populations. I have a wide range of experiences, but some areas I have assisted clients with were: PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, personality disorders, intimate betrayal, and more. Whatever area of need, together, we will create a healthy path on your journey to a positive well-being.
